The JV and Varsity teams traveled to Avonworth for the opening match of section play last night.  The jv lost in straight sets 2-0, while fielding a completely new line up of players this season.  
The varsity started off in relatively slow fashion, falling behind the 'Lopes early and then trying to catch up late in each of the first two sets, dropping both by almost identical scores. 15-25 and 14-25.  The girls seem to settle in to the pace of the match and were able to scratch out a win in set three with a score of 25-23.  Set four was the best played set by both teams, but a few ill-timed Charger errors allowed the 'Lopes to get the match victory with a 25-20 set victory and a final match score of 3-1.

Grace Bradley: 2 kills, 10 assists, 10 digs
Ally Buerk: 2 assists, 17 digs
The Chargers will open tomorrow at home vs section opponent South Park, and look to improve in their team play going forward.  Hope to see all the OLSH fans at the match.  Jv will begin at 6 pm and Varsity around 7:15.  Hope to see you all there.
