The bowling team took on Avonworth at Pines Plaza on Thursday afternoon. The boys came away with a clean 3-0 sweep, and were led by
Brady Brazell with a 175,
Isaac Tarbuk with a 171 and 183, and
Tom Gayliardi with a series of 192, 186, and 183. Scores were impressive on JV as well, and allowed for several substitutions to be made throughout the match so that a good number of bowlers could contribute to the win.
The girls took the first game of their match easily, but only won by 7 pins in the second game, and came up short in the third. It was a close and exciting match that saw
Elena Polar bowl a new personal record of 175, and
Jacque Day bowl her own PR of 171.
Maura Randal also contributed to the win with a 155.Â
