Congratulations to the JV and Varsity teams last night, as they welcomed in a very competitive Central Valley team and came away victorious in both matches! 

The JV won their match in 2 straight sets, utilizing everyone on the bench to take the match with set scores of 25-19 and 25-22.

The Varsity looked good early, as they played a very tight game and eventually had set point with a 24-22 lead, but Central Valley clawed back and tied the score at 25's and eventually won the first set 27-25!  The Chargers did a very good job of keeping their composure as they continued to work for every point and kept the rest of the sets close, and were able to pull out the next 3 sets in a row with scores of 25-17, 25-22, and 25-20.  The girls are 1-0 in the section and 3-0 overall.  The girls will be off until next Tuesday when they welcome the Freedom Bulldogs to the AAC.
