Congratulations to both the JV and Varsity Volleyball teams as they both came home with section wins in their respective matches against Aliquippa last night.  The JV started off strong, as they took the first set by a score of 25-14, but then Aliquippa came back and turned the tables on the Chargers by posting the very same score, 25-14.  The third and deciding set saw the Chargers jump out to a big lead, but Aliquippa almost came all the way back to tie the score at 13, before the Chargers finished off the set by winning 15-13.

The Varsity started very slowly, as Aliquippa took a 12-6 lead, then an 18-12 lead, then a 24-22 lead, knocking on the door to win set one.  But a few serves and a few errors by the Lady Quips resulted in a 27-25 Charger win.  The Chargers looked better in set two as they cruised to a 25-5 victory.  The Chargers then finished off the Lady Quips with a 25-13 win and the match victory.
