The varsity volleyball team delivered a dominant performance on the road last night, sweeping the Avonworth Antelopes in straight sets—25-22, 25-18, 25-18. The win marks a significant step in the season, moving the team into a tie for first place in the section with Hopewell. Both teams now hold just one section loss, setting the stage for an exciting race to the finish.

The match showcased a strong, balanced effort from the entire squad. Leading the way offensively was Leah Parker who tallied 9 kills, 5 aces, and 7 digs. Lola Garner added 8 kills, 1 ace, 2 digs and a block, while Carmella Rippole contributed 23 assists, 1 kill, 2 aces, and 2 crucial digs!  Bella Coladonato had 4 kills, 3 aces, and 10 digs. Adrianna Batts chipped in with 4 kills and a block and Sophia Wasko had 5 digs and a great job of serve receive!

While the JV team fought hard in a competitive match, they ultimately fell to Avonworth in three sets. They played particularly well in the opening two sets but lost momentum in the third as the Antelopes pulled ahead.
