The OLSH Chargers opened their season with a 43–26 win over Beaver Area.
OLSH came out locked in, holding the Bobcats scoreless in the first quarter, jumping to a 10–0 lead. Four Chargers got on the board right away—Leah Parker, Lola Garner, Rowan Winter, and Macie Trombetta.
In the second quarter, Lola Garner led the way with 5 points, and Vivienne Goshen chipped in 4 of her own. Just before halftime, Macie Trombetta hit a buzzer-beater, giving OLSH a 24–9 lead at the intermission.
Beaver Area responded in the third quarter, outscoring the Chargers 13–7, but Leah Parker buried a deep three to keep OLSH ahead 31–22.
In the fourth, Parker controlled the pace, and Trombetta and Garner each scored 5 points to help close out the game. The Chargers finished strong and secured a 16-point victory.
OLSH starts the season 1–0 and will be back in action at home on Thursday, December 4, against Lincoln Park.
