OLSH Girls Flag Football Team Shows Progress in Back-to-Back Games

The girls' flag football team had an eventful Saturday, playing two games that highlighted both their growth and resilience.

The day began with a dominant 12-0 victory over Bishop Canevin, where the team displayed excellent teamwork and solid execution. Quarterback Olivia Hyatt led the offense with precision, while Chloe Goodwin made key contributions both offensively and defensively. Keely Bodnar and Margaret Mary Sweeney stood out with their defensive prowess, breaking up passes and showcasing their agility on the field.

The second game saw the girls face a tough Ambridge team, who ultimately prevailed 14-0. Despite the loss, the team's determination was evident as they made it a hard-fought contest. Their resilience against a formidable opponent demonstrated significant progress in their development.

Meanwhile, the JV squad played against Seton LaSalle, gaining valuable experience despite a 24-0 defeat.

Overall, the week highlighted the team's hard work, determination, and clear progress across both the varsity and JV levels.
