Several OLSH athletes earned well-deserved recognition for their standout basketball seasons.
Lola Garner was named to the Post-Gazette WPIAL Class 3A Section 1 All-Section Team, while Jake Johnson and Tiernan McCullough earned the same honor on the boys side in Class 2A Section 4. Their consistent performances throughout the season helped set them apart among some of the top talent in the region.
In addition to those honors, Jake Johnson and Tiernan McCullough were selected as one of the Beaver County Times 2025–26 boys high school basketball Top 22 All-Stars and Lola Garner for the girls list, further highlighting the impact all three players made this year.
The recognition doesn't stop there. The annual Roundball Classic senior all-star games will take place May 30–31 at North Allegheny High School. Lola Garner and Sara Daeschner have been selected to compete in the girls 3A vs. 4A/5A game at 5:30 p.m. on May 31, while Jake Johnson will represent his team in the boys Class 2A vs. District 10 game at 3:30 p.m. on May 30.
These honors and selections reflect not only their talent, but also the hard work and dedication each athlete has shown throughout the season. Congratulations to Lola, Jake, Tiernan, and Sara!
