Thanks to all of the student body fans that came to the game last night to support your classmates!  The girls welcomed in top-ranked Ft. Cherry to the AAC, and unfortunately, it didn't go the way the Chargers planned.

The JV team lost 2 close games by scores of 21-25 and 20-25.

The Varsity squad went back and forth with the Rangers during each set, as they lost the first set 22-25, but then recovered to take the second set 25-23.  Ft. Cherry bounced back in set 3, winning with a 18-25 result and go up 2 sets to 1 in the match.  But again the Chargers surged forward and hung tough as they took the 4th set 25-19.  The 5th and deciding set went back and forth, much like most of the match, and the Chargers took a lead, but Ft. Cherry came back and won the match with a 15-12 final score!

The stat leaders for the night were:
Macie Trombetta -15 kills
Sophia Wasko -18 digs and 4 aces
Carmella Rippole - 22 assists and 3 aces
Isabell Rodgers - 15 assists
Frankie Schlatterer - 11 kills, 7 blocks
