The Chargers welcomed the Chartiers-Houston Buccaneers into the AAC last night and both the jv and varsity squads finished the evening victorious!  The jv started slow, but made up for it as the match went on.  The girls lost a close first set 21-25, but then they rebounded to take set 2 with a score of 25-16.  In the deciding 3rd set, the jv stayed with the Buccaneer all the way until the score showed 8-8, and that's where the girls made their move!  as they outscored Char-Houston 7-1 at the end of the set to take it with a final score of 15-9!

The varsity used all of the players available as they worked to win the first 2 sets in identical fashion with 25-14 scores in each set.  The Buccaneers did not go down without a fight however, as they served themselves back into the match and took set 3 with a score of 21-25.  The Chargers regrouped and got back to business as they fought to make sure the final score was in their favor as they finished the set 25-17 and won the match 3 sets to 1.
