The Boys Soccer team had an impressive showing on Tuesday night, as they defeated the Southside Rams 5-0 in their Senior Night matchup.
The game got off to blazing start, with
Billy Fryer scoring 2 goals within minutes.
Andrew Griesacker scored a goal of his own not long after.
Nolan Randal also came up with a nice goal, kicking the ball backwards into the net with his heel. The fifth Charger goal came from
Noah Oros on a nice penalty kick. The Chargers held possession of the ball for most the game, allowing the Rams only a few shots on the goal.Â
Dawson Summers had a couple of great saves in the net, but the Rams' goalie was really put to work, as the Chargers fired off more than 40 shots.
Prior to the start of the game, a whopping 11 graduating seniors were recognized for their contributions to the team over the past several years. They are off to great places!
The Chargers' final home game of the season will be next Wednesday, October 13th, against section rival Sewickley Academy.Â
