After winning a WPIAL Class 2A gold medal last year in the 110m hurdles,
Antonio Votour set out to defend his title at yesterday's WPIAL Championship track meet. He not only won gold again, but set a new WPIAL record, running 14.30 in the final.
Max Hamilton placed 2nd in the 800m run after being sidelined by an injury for most of this season.
Ryan Groff completed the 1600m in 8th place, also earning a medal.
Shannon McCullough finished 10th in the 200m and
Gianna Mosca finished 12th in the 1600m.
Antonio and Max have qualified to compete at the State Championship at Shippensburg University on May 26-27.
