The Cornell-OLSH-Eden Swim Team Co-op showed determination and grit in their recent meets against Quaker Valley and Chartiers Valley.

While the girls fell slightly short against Quaker Valley, the boys secured a solid win.  

In Thursday's meet against Chartiers Valley, both the boys' and girls' teams gave it their all but came up short facing some tough competition. Despite the loss, there were several standout performances worth celebrating:

• Gianna Mosca and Mira Mosca teamed up in the 400 Freestyle Relay, earning a WPIAL qualifying time of 4:08.37 and a first-place finish.
• Grace Turko and Mira Mosca dominated the 100 Freestyle, finishing 1st and 2nd respectively, both achieving their best times of the year.
• PJ Hawkins and Sam Bleakley continued to impress, improving their seeding for the MAC Championships.
• Caleb King, a strong addition to the team, is showing great work ethic and determination.
• Juliet Price and Clara Joranger have both been improving steadily, with both swimmers nearing MAC Championship cut times in the 50 Freestyle. Juliet continues to showcase her versatility as an all-around swimmer, taking on a variety of events.

We invite everyone to come out and support the team for Senior Night on January 30th against Carlynton at Cornell High School. Let's pack the stands and cheer on our incredible swimmers who give it their all in every meet!
