The Chargers secured a solid 70-59 win over Union on Friday night, extending their overall record to 14-4 and 9-1 in section play.
The game started strong for the Chargers, who dominated the first quarter with a commanding 25-14 lead. They kept their momentum going into the second, finishing the half 44-32. Union mounted a comeback in the second half, outscoring the Chargers 27-26, but it wasn't enough to overcome the early deficit and the Chargers held on to win 70-59.
Tiernan McCullough led the team with 18 points, followed closely by Jake Johnson with 16, Austin Avsec who added 15, and Vann Kavals who chipped in 12, including an exciting dunk.
OLSH will be in action next Tuesday as they head to Western Beaver for another section match up. .
