Congratulations to both the JV and Varsity squads, who each came away with victories last night in our first home match of the year back at the AAC!
The JV team won in two straight sets, setting the tone for a memorable evening. Before the start of the varsity match, our five seniors — Julia Davoli, Jordyn Velmire, Jenna Nastal, Leah Parker, and Lola Garner — were honored for their contributions to the program.
The varsity match was a thrilling, hard-fought contest — and not just because of the competition! With the gym packed and temperatures high, it was a challenging night for players and fans alike. Thank you to all of the parents, friends, faculty, and students who came out to support our seniors and cheer on the Chargers as they took another step toward a possible section championship.
There were key contributions across the board. Stats for the night are as follows:
-
Leah Parker: 15 kills, 11 digs, 3 aces
-
Lola Garner: 6 kills, 4 aces, 11 digs
-
Jordyn Velmire: 1 kill, 6 assists, and a clutch block in set 3
-
