Congratulations to the OLSH girls cross country team for tying for 1st place at the prestigious Red, White & Blue Invitational on September 12 at White Oak Park!
The Chargers moved up to compete in the Class AA race and finished tied for first with Central Cambria High School, ultimately falling on the tiebreaker.
Jules Goshen led OLSH with a strong second-half push, finishing 8th overall in 20:10.
Hannah Hayes overcame a sore ankle to place 12th in 20:27, while
Eva Crofford charged late to finish 15th in 20:47. Freshman
Ellie Green placed 18th in 21:06, and
Mira Mosca secured the final team score with a 20th-place finish in 21:16.
In the boys Class AA race,
Ethan Hankinson led the Chargers with a time of 18:58. Derek Daniel,
David Hricisak,
Sidney McLaughlin, and
Landon Bell rounded out the OLSH team.
