The Montour Spartans paid a visit to the AAC last night, and began the night in exciting fashiion as they took the jv match 2 sets to 1, including an extended play 25-23 victory over the Chargers jv. But that did not deter the varsity as they jumped on the Spartans from the start, serving aces to begin the match to get Montour on their heels as the Chargers cruised to a 25-6 victory. Montour did regroup in set 2, as the Chargers had errors in both the serving and attacking categories, allowing Montour to stay with them for the remainder of the set, before prevailing 25-22. The third set was more of the same as OLSH made some errors, Montour tried to hang around, but in the end the Chargers steadied the ship and finished with a 25-20 victory and the match win.
Paul Belak led with 10 kills and 13 digs,
