The Chargers traveled to Hopewell to take on the undermanned Vikings on their senior night.  The jv squad won their match in 2 straight sets, upping their record to 11-3 overall in match play
Following the Hopewell senior recognition activities, the Chargers got down to the business at hand, as they quickly showed their intent on winning the match and securing a tie for the section title with Ambridge.  The Chargers controlled the play throughout the match as they posted a 3 sets to 0 sweep of the young Vikings, with set scores of 25-10, 25-13, and 25-16.  This gives the boys a section record of 9-1, tying Ambridge for the section title (the first in boys volleyball history), and an overall match record of 12-2 with one final match to play. 
The boys will finish their season with a senior night match at the AAC on Thursday vs Bishop Canevin, and then their home Invitational Tournament on Saturday.  Senior night recognition will begin around 7:10 pm and the varsity match will follow.  Come on out and help show appreciation for our 4 seniors:  Paul Belak, Ryan Parker, Andrew Schnarre, and Sig Saftner.
