Coach MAC and the girls volleyball team would like to thank all the fans and the student section that came to senior night to cheer on the Chargers.  The night began with the JV winning their match 2 sets to 0, with scores of 25-12 and 25-22.  The team's 5 seniors were then recognized before the varsity match. Kara Bridge, Candace Cardwell, Rylie Hanlon, Shannon McCullough, and Alyssa Minton were honored by their teammates and the fans.  The varsity match was hard fought, but in the end Quaker Valley came out on top.  The Chargers lost the first set 21-25, but bounced back and took the second set with a 26-24 score.  The third set matched set 1, with the Quakers winning 25-21.  And the fourth set finished with a 17-25 score. 

The girls will travel tomorrow to Avonworth to try to upset the Antelopes.  JV plays at 6 with Varsity to follow.
