The boys volleyball team celebrated senior recognition last night in front of friends and family. Our 5 seniors played their final home match at the AAC for their careers:
Collin Cimino,
Joe Leininger,
Kyle Rooney,
Matthew Tarbuk, and
Aiden Vargo were honored with their parents before the varsity match. The jv won their match 2 sets to 0, tallying scores of 25-18, and 25-19.
The varsity match did not go the way we wanted with the Eagles showing a great deal of fight and determination to keep the Chargers at bay.
The Eagles prevailed in 4 sets, with scores of:
- 25-17 BCCS
- 20-25 OLSH
- 26-16 BCCS
- 26-24 BCCS
Set 4 was a nail biter, with each team swapping leads throughout. It kept fans on the edge of their seat, but it was BCCS who came out with the win.
The boys will have one more event at the AAC on Saturday as they host 9 teams for the OLSH Invitational. Good luck, guys!
