The Boys Volleyball team made the trek up to BCCS to take on the host Eagles for their final section match of the season. 

JV dropped 2 really close sets that had them in the lead in both, but they just couldn't hang on at the end.  So the final result was BCCS JV with the win 2 sets to 0. 

The varsity squad had to fend off a tough Eagles defense that did not allow many balls to touch the floor, and gave the Chargers all they could handle in the first two sets.  The score was 1-1 after the first two, and they mirrored each other in the score category as well, with both teams posting 25-22 victories.  But following the Eagles set win, the Chargers came back with a fury as they controlled the 3rd set the whole time and finished with a dominating 25-11 score.  The 4th was much of the same as the Chargers held the lead the whole set and held off the Eagles at the end to finish the set with a 25-17 score and win the match 3-1.  This is the boys' 8th match win in their last 10 matches as they get ready for the playoff bracket to be announced this afternoon. 

The boys will host their varsity invitational tomorrow at the AAC.  Good luck tomorrow and good luck in the playoffs!
