The following day, OLSH made the trip to South Side and left no doubt in a commanding 12-0 victory to complete the sweep.
The Chargers jumped on the board early with three runs in the first inning and added five more in the second, taking firm control of the game from the outset. Medwig, continuing his outstanding series, took the mound and tossed five scoreless innings, scattering just three hits and striking out five to earn the win.
Offensively, Medwig stayed hot with a 3-for-3 day at the plate, including a double and two RBIs. Chad Minton also recorded three hits and drove in three runs to pace the Chargers' relentless attack.
OLSH showcased its depth throughout the lineup, as Sean Hudac, Bruno Williams, James Hanna, and Iseia Fields-Schulz all contributed doubles. Anthony Hansen capped off the offensive explosion with a two-RBI triple.
With the sweep, the Chargers remain tied with Riverview for the top spot in the section standings. They'll look to carry their momentum into next week's crucial series against Springdale as the push toward the postseason intensifies.
