The OLSH Chargers celebrated Senior Night in style Tuesday, defeating the Riverview Raiders 4-1 at home.
Before the game, OLSH honored seniors Bruno Williams, Owen Minzer, Chad Minton, and Wes Goshen
The Chargers bounced back in a big way after suffering an 11-0 road loss to Riverview on Monday.
Trailing 1-0 early, OLSH responded with a decisive third inning. Singles from Bruno Williams, Ryan DeNinno, and Dean Douglass loaded the bases for Colby Lane, who delivered the biggest hit of the night with a bases-clearing triple to give the Chargers a 3-1 lead. Lane later crossed the plate on a sacrifice fly by James Hanna to provide the final insurance run.
On the mound, Williams turned in a dominant performance, pitching a complete-game while allowing just one run and walking two batters.
With the victory, the Chargers officially locked up their spot in the upcoming WPIAL tournament.
