The OLSH baseball team delivered back-to-back shutouts against Springdale, earning 15-0 and 14-0 victories on consecutive nights to sweep the series.

In the first game, senior pitcher Iseia Fields-Schulz was nearly untouchable, tossing four hitless innings and striking out nine. The Chargers' offense was equally impressive, with Gino Williams leading the way with two hits and three RBI. Chad Minton also collected two hits, while Ryan DeNinno and Dean Douglass each drove in two runs.

The Chargers carried that momentum into Game 2, where Dean Douglass took the spotlight with a near-flawless performance of his own on the mound—allowing just one hit while facing the minimum, and striking out seven. The offense remained relentless—Thomas Medwig recorded four hits, Minton added three hits and four RBI, and DeNinno, Austin Hansen, and Bruno Williams each contributed two hits. Nick Rippole delivered a highlight moment with a pinch-hit, three-RBI triple in the fifth inning.

With the sweep, OLSH improves to 9-1 in section play and 11-6 overall. The Chargers return to action Thursday at 6:30 p.m. when they host Eden Christian at Youthtowne in their annual Stand Up to Cancer game. Fans are encouraged to come out and support a great cause while cheering on the team.
