The boys' and girls' track and field teams both participated in the 1
st Annual RMU Bobby Mo Don't Run Slow Invitational at Neville Island on Thursday, May 1. For the boys,
Trey Moses had a career day, winning the discus and breaking his own school record with a throw of 132-10 and setting a new school javelin record with a third place throw of 157-8. On the girls' side,
Margaret Mary Sweeney also broke her own school record, running an 8:47.46 on her way to victory in the grueling 2000m steeplechase. Several other athletes had notable days, including:

Both teams will be back in action at the Spartan Last Chance Meet held at Montour High School on May 10 – several individuals and relay teams will be competing to improve their seeding or earn a berth at the WPIAL Individual Championships. Good luck!
