The boys volleyball team picked up a 3-0 win over the Portersville Christian Warriors last night, with set scores of 25-11, 25-7, and 25-21.
They controlled the match throughout, taking the first two sets comfortably before finishing off the third. Every available player saw time on the court, including two freshmen and one sophomore.
Aiden Curry led the offense with 30 assists and added 3 aces. Brady Rooney recorded 9 kills, 3 aces, and 7 digs, while Patrick Altmar also finished with 9 kills. Isaac Tarbuk contributed 5 kills, 3 aces, and 4 digs, and Ryan Bridge added 5 kills. Defensively, Marco Buzzard led the way with 8 digs. Oliver Tomsic, Mathias Lieb, Cole Miller, Jackson Leslie, and Cooper Belcufine also contributed in the win.
The team improves to 5-0 on the season and will travel to Derry on Saturday to compete in a tournament.
