In Monday's win, the Chargers totaled eight runs on nine hits and 12 walks. Ryan DeNinno led the offense, going 3-for-4, while Angelo Ursida finished 2-for-3. Wyatt Walsh, Bruno Williams, Chad Minton, and Colby Lane each drew two walks, accounting for eight of the team's 12 walks.
The Chargers were aggressive on the bases, stealing eight bases, with Walsh, Minton, and Dean Douglass leading the effort.
On the mound, left-hander Ryan DeNinno pitched six innings, allowing six hits and four runs while striking out four and walking two. Bruno Williams threw one scoreless inning in relief, allowing no hits.
In Tuesday's 10–0 victory, the Chargers scored 10 runs, highlighted by an eight-run second inning. Angelo Ursida doubled and drove in two runs, Owen Minzer singled in a run, and James Hanna added a two-run double. Dean Douglass recorded an RBI with a walk, and Wyatt Walsh contributed a two-run single.
Hunter Mattern earned the win, throwing five shutout innings. He allowed three hits, struck out six, and did not issue a walk.
Across the two games, the Chargers combined for 18 runs, nine-plus hits in the opener, 12 walks in Game 1, eight stolen bases, and a shutout in Game 2 to begin section play 2–0.
