OLSH secures a 5–2 victory over Brentwood on the road Tuesday.
The Chargers struck first in the opening inning when Bruno Williams delivered an RBI single to bring home Dean Douglass.
Brentwood answered with a run in the fourth to even the score, but OLSH quickly regained control in the top of the fifth with their most productive inning of the game. The Chargers erupted for four runs to break things open, highlighted by Bruno Williams' two-run single. The rally was fueled further by a pair of Spartans errors, each leading to a run, as OLSH capitalized on every opportunity to extend the lead to 5–1.
Williams led the offensive charge, accounting for three of the Chargers' eight hits while driving in three runs. Douglass finished with two hits and two runs scored as OLSH grabbed the early advantage.
Owen Minzer and James Hanna added to the balanced attack, each recording a hit and scoring a run.
On the mound, Ryan DeNinno turned in a complete-game performance to earn the win for the Chargers. He allowed six hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out five and walking four while keeping Brentwood in check down the stretch.
