The swim team - a co-op with Cornell - had their first section meet at home last night.  Nicole Susie, Gianna Mosca and Lauren Shuagis were all part of the winning 200 Medley and 200 Freestyle Relays.  Nicole won both of her individual events:  200 IM and 100 Backstroke.  Gianna and Lauren had very strong swims in both of their individual events, the 50 and 100 Freestyle.  Lauren swam a personal best in the 50, with a 29.70 - a qualifying time for the MAC Championships later this year.  Gianna also qualified for the same meet in the 100 Freestyle with a time of 1:05.77.  Nicole has already qualified in a few events for the MAC Championships and is quickly closing in on qualifying for the WPIAL Championships.  Though the team did not win last night, there were good swims by all!
