GCC 41 OLSH 18
The Chargers kept the the Centurions in check in the first quarter.
Claudia Ierullo had a driving layup and a steal for a 2nd basket while
Lola Garner chipped in a bucket. When the buzzer sounded, it was GCC 8 OLSH 6.
Sara Daeschner converted a basket for OLSH to make the score 12-8 with 1:30 gone in the 2nd quarter but then, it was all GCC.
The Centurions went on a 14-3 run and went in at the half leading 26-11 at the intermission.
In the 3rd quarter, the scoring drought continued with the Chargers unable to convert on a field goal attempt..
The Chargers created four straight turnovers but the hoop continued to have a lid on it.
Leah Parker went 2-3 from the charity stripe while the defense held GCC to only 2 field goals in the quarter.
The quarter ended with the score GCC 30 OLSH 13.
With the Centurions up by double digits and they were able to hold the ball a large portion of the quarter.

to finalize the scoring for OLSH
The Chargers are 21-4 overall and will be in the WPIAL 3rd-4th place PIAA seeding game at a site and time TBD.
