The Chargers earned a decisive victory in a WPIAL Playoff Consolation Game for a PIAA State Playoff berth at the AAC. As the #6 seed, OLSH hosted #7 seed Waynesburg Central and delivered a strong performance from start to finish.
OLSH came out firing in the opening quarter.
Leah Parker poured in 8 points,
Rowan Winter added 6, and
Lola Garner chipped in 5 to lead a balanced offensive attack. When the first-quarter buzzer sounded, the Chargers held a 19–11 advantage.
The momentum continued in the second frame.
Shae Trombetta found her rhythm with 5 points, while
Macie Trombetta added two baskets.
Rowan Winter contributed 4 points,
Lola Garner added a bucket, and
Sara Daeschner knocked down a three-pointer to extend the lead. At halftime, OLSH was in control, 37–15.
Six Chargers scored in the third quarter as OLSH outscored the Raiders 17–16.
Rowan Winter and
Lola Garner each recorded two baskets, while
Leah Parker and
Shae Trombetta added one apiece. Freshman
Macie Trombetta and
Jules Goshen each chipped in 2 points. OLSH carried a 23-point lead into the final quarter.
Camryn Hummel opened the fourth quarter with a basket, and
Leah Parker and
Rowan Winter each added two more field goals.
Jules Goshen and
Shae Trombetta contributed strong driving baskets to round out the scoring as the Chargers secured a 17-point victory.
OLSH improves to 19–6 overall and will return to action on Monday, February 23, 2026, at Quaker Valley to determine the District 7 fifth and sixth PIAA State Playoff qualifying seeds.
