The OLSH Chargers softball team lost to the North Catholic Trojanettes 6-1 on Wednesday, March 12th.
The Chargers got on the board in the third inning when Ava Ciummo doubled, driving in one run.
North Catholic regained the lead in the fourth inning, capitalizing on an error and a groundout by Juliana Lehman, each scoring a run.
Lilli Wamsley started in the circle for the Chargers, allowing three hits and two runs (one earned) over four innings, with four strikeouts and one walk.
At the plate, Ciummo led the Chargers with one RBI, going 1-for-2. Kaylee Seskey and Ciummo each recorded a hit, while Olivia DiGiacomo showed patience, leading the team with two walks. Overall, the Chargers demonstrated a strong eye at the plate, drawing seven walks.
