The OLSH Chargers fell to the Howland Tigers 3-0 in a hard-fought softball game on Saturday.
The Tigers struck first in the top of the first inning with an inside-the-park home run by Madison Schmitz, putting them on the board.
Chargers' pitcher Camryn Hummel started the game and threw all seven innings, allowing eight hits and three runs while walking just two batters.
Ava Ciummo led the Chargers offensively, going 2-for-3 at the plate, but unfortunately the team was unable to capitalize on the hits.
