The OLSH Boys Volleyball teams took on the South Fayette Lions last night at Cornell, walking away with mixed results.
The JV squad came out strong, defeating the Lions in straight sets with scores of 28-26 and 25-17. The team showed resilience and composure in a close first set before pulling away in the second to secure the win.
The varsity team, meanwhile, debuted a new lineup and faced some early growing pains. Despite their effort, the Chargers fell to the Lions in three sets, with scores of 15-25, 16-25, and 16-25.
The team will look to bounce back when they travel to Baldwin on Tuesday for a non-section matchup against the Highlanders.
