In a tight defensive battle, Quaker Valley edged Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, 37–36, in a game that came down to the final seconds.

OLSH set the tone early playing shut down defense in the first half, holding the Quakers to just nine points. The Chargers capitalized on that effort offensively, scoring 15 points to take a 15–9 lead into halftime. Lola Garner led the scoring with six points.

The momentum shifted in the third quarter as Quaker Valley outscored the Chargers 14–12. The lead changed hands multiple times during the period. Lola Garner continued to lead the Chargers with seven points in the quarter, while Macie Trombetta knocked down a deep three-pointer and Rowan Winter added two points to keep OLSH in the fight.

Quaker Valley built a four-point advantage with four minutes remaining, but the Chargers refused to go away, keeping the game within one or two possessions throughout the final quarter.

The turning point came with 1:50 left in the game when Quaker Valley's Maryland recruit Mimi Theiro fouled out after scoring an impressive 29 points. Despite the setback, the Quakers held a three-point lead. OLSH fouled and Quaker Valley converted one of two free throws to extend the lead to four.

Leah Parker answered with a basket to cut the margin to two. Moments later, Jules Goshen came up with a huge steal, drew a foul, and made one of two free throws to pull the Chargers within one point with 20 seconds remaining. OLSH had several opportunities down the stretch, but couldn't convert, allowing Quaker Valley the one-point victory.

The Chargers are now 13–5 overall and 6–3 in section play. OLSH returns to action Monday on the road against Sto-Rox.
