The OLSH Chargers traded baskets with West Allegheny in the first quarter, but a late surge by West Allegheny gave them a 16-12 lead. Four players scored for OLSH in the frame led by Lola Garner and Rowan Winter each contributing four points.

Midway through the second quarter, West Allegheny went on a 10-0 run, gaining control of the game. Lola Garner hit a three-pointer, and Rowan Winter added a basket for the Chargers, but OLSH trailed 33-17 at halftime.

The Chargers' pressure defense caused several turnovers early in the third quarter, but West Allegheny's offense proved too strong, outscoring OLSH 14-7. Macie Trombetta led the Chargers in the period with five points.

In the fourth quarter, West Allegheny continued its pressure defense and outscored OLSH 13-5. Freshman Macie Trombetta and Jules Goshen scored for the Chargers in the final frame.

With the loss, OLSH drops to 8-3 overall and 2-2 in section play. The Chargers will look to bounce back in their next game on Monday against Riverside in a section contest at home. The JV game is at 6:00 PM, followed by the Varsity game at 7:30 PM.
