The Chargers traded baskets with the Vikings for the first five minutes of play, then pulled ahead in the final three minutes of the first quarter to take a 12–8 lead. Five different players scored for OLSH, led by Camryn Hummel with four points.
In the second quarter, sisters Macie and Shae Trombetta led the offensive attack with seven and five points, respectively. The Chargers outscored the Vikings 16–8 in the quarter and took a 12-point lead into halftime.
Lola Garner tallied 10 points in the third quarter, while Leah Parker added four as the Chargers extended their advantage to 23 points. The OLSH defense was dominant, holding the Vikings to just three points in the quarter.
The Chargers played 12 players in the fourth quarter and outscored the Vikings 9–8 on their way to a 24-point victory. Eleven different players scored in the final period, with Jules Goshen leading the way with four points.
With the win, the Chargers improve to 14–5 overall and 8–4 in section play. Their next game is Monday at home against New Brighton, which will also be Senior Appreciation Night.
