The OLSH girls basketball team delivered a dominant performance from the start, racing out to a 26–0 lead over New Brighton in the first quarter. Eight different Chargers saw action in the opening frame, showcasing the team's depth early. Camryn Hummel led all scorers in the quarter with 7 points, while Rowan Winter added 6 points and Leah Parker chipped in 5 as OLSH controlled both ends of the floor.
The Chargers continued their momentum in the second quarter, outscoring New Brighton 18–0. Camryn Hummel and Vivienne Goshen had 5 points apiece during the run, while Alexa Schmitt drained a long trey. Freshmen Macie Trombetta and Jules Goshen each added a bucket to round out the scoring, helping OLSH head into halftime firmly in control.
With the running clock in effect during the second half, OLSH maintained its intensity and outscored the Lions 25–9. Sydney Trippe led the way in the second half with 6 points, while Jules Goshen, Macie Trombetta, and Mya Eshenbaught each added to the scoring column as the Chargers continued to spread the offense.
In total, 14 different players scored for OLSH in the victory, highlighting a balanced team effort. With the win, the Chargers improve to 10–3 overall and 4–2 in section play. OLSH returns to action next Monday when they host Mohawk in a home contest.
