The Chargers fought through a penalty ridden contest at Fort Cherry Friday night eventually clinching a sufficient 35-13 victory over the Rangers.
After a quite first quarter,
Jaymar Pearson put the Chargers on the board with a forty-yard rushing touchdown with
Ryan Gehring adding the PAT to make the score 7-0 OLSH with
two minuets to go at the end of the first.
Pearson would make a return trip to the end zone with a powerful fourteen-yard run to give the OLSH Chargers
a 14-0 lead in the second quarter. The Rangers answered shortly after with a seventy-four-yard reception by Blake Keller cutting the OLSH lead to 14-7 going into the locker room.
Halfway through the third Quarterback Neimiah Azeem decided to add to the Charger's lead, pushing his way int the end zone for a one yard run that capped a twelve play seventy yard drive and again expanding the lead.
But Dylan Rodgers would help Rangers answer again with another long TD score, with a seventy-four-yard catch and run and cutting the deficit to eight after a missed extra point.
JayMar Pearson would then proceed to close and lock the door with two twenty-nine yard runs in the fourth quarter of play with both of the OLSH Chargers a 35-13 victory over the Fort
Cherry Rangers. Pearson led OLSH with 209 yards rushing and four touchdowns.
The win boosts the Chargers to (3-0) going into next week's pivotal matchup at Rochester (3-0).
