Boys Bowling Clinches Playoff Spot with Win Against Carlynton

The OLSH bowling team had an exciting day on the lanes yesterday as they took on Carlynton in their most important match of the year.

The girls team unfortunately fell to Carlynton in all 3 games, but not without putting up a fight. The final game of their match came down to the wire, but they lost by just one single pin. The girls' high score of the day came from Malley Aiello with a 141.

The boys won all three games to win the match 7-0. Matt Tarbuck came in hot, throwing games of 180, 205, and 237. Brian Tarbuk threw a 179, and Tom Gayliardi had games of 203 and 205. Carlynton made the boys work for their win in the last game, losing by just 26 pins.

With yesterday's win, the boys team has clinched a spot in the playoffs.
Special shout out to our rowdy student section! It was great seeing other students and athletes come out to support the team - the atmosphere has never been so electric at a bowling match!

Next up: Come cheer on the Chargers in their final match of the regular season next Wednesday at Paradise Lanes at 3pm. They'll take on Bishop Canevin in this Senior Night match up!
