The OLSH Boys and Girls Bowling Teams earned a hard-fought sweep of Nazareth Prep, continuing their quest of a 2nd straight section championship. The victories were the third win in the past five days for both teams.
Boys: OLSH 7Â Nazareth Prep 0 (OLSH wins Pin Count 2319-1906)
The Chargers showcased their depth in today's match with an improved Saints team in which eight bowlers earned time on Varsity, improving to 6-1 for the season.
Isaac Tarbuk led the way with a 559 Series including a game-high 219 during the 2nd game in the match.
Oliver Tomsic complimented the match with a 489 series with his top score of 180. Other Chargers that helped assist in victory were

The Lady Chargers continued to bowl well, earning their second straight 2000 series as a team and their seventh sweep in as many matches to improve to 7-0.
All five starters posted high marks for the match.
Jordyn Velmire led the way with a 443 Series and a match-high score of 197.
Hannah Hayes and
Natalie Turcios also posted strong scores with a 413 and 411 Series, respectively.
Chloe Goodwin (141) and
Katherine McCullough (168) also contributed to the success of the match.

Our Junior Varsity teams also demonstrated tremendous potential as a few of them earned a spot on the Varsity squad.
For the Boys Team, they were led by
Sidney McLaughlin with a top score of 189 and
Leeland Thompson with a 169. Both were called up for Varsity experience.
The Girls Team was led by
Mia Malinich with a 353 series and a top score of 135.
Jacqueline Day posted a match-best 147 and
Eva Fardo earned a score of 127.
The Chargers get a deserved 9-day rest as their next match is for section championship implications when they go to Paradise Lanes to host the North Allegheny Tigers on January 21st at 3:00pm.
