The bowling team completed a clean sweep of Hampton at Pines Plaza yesterday.
The girls won all three games of their match-up and were led by
Jacque Day with a 151 and
Elena Polar with a 161.
The boys had their best match of the season, putting up over 900 pins in their first two games, and 1004 in their third. Every member of the varsity squad contributed greatly to the win.
Jonah Schollaert threw a 201,
Roman Ritz threw a 181,
Oliver Tomsic had a 187, 188, and 200,
Tom Gayliardi had a 191, 197, and 246, and
Isaac Tarbuk threw a 176, 192, and 268 - the highest game and series for the boys all season. Not only was this the boys' best match of the season, but it was their best match in years.
It'll be tough to outdo this week's results, but the team will look forward to trying as they take on Moon in next Wednesday's Senior Night match-up at Paradise Lanes. Senior recognition will begin at 3:00 pm. Come on out and cheer on the team!
