The OLSH Boys and Girls Team continued their winning ways last night with both teams securing victories over Moon.
The Boys Bowling team prevailed over Moon with a score of 5-2. After falling behind after the first game the Chargers finished the second game with a dramatic conclusion by
Isaac Tarbuk and Thomas Gayliardi to give OLSH the win by 5 pins. OLSH went on to win the third game to secure enough points to be declared the winner.
Thomas Gayliardi finished with a 618 series and all his scores were at least 200 or better (200, 204, and 214).
Isaac Tarbuk bowled all games with at least a 170 for a 528 series.
Jonah Schollaert also bowled well, holding a 518 series with his top score of 181.
Oliver Tomsic rounded out some great bowling by the Chargers with a single score of 172.
The Girls Bowling Team swept Moon by a score of 7-0.
Natalie Turcios led the way for the OLSH girls Bowling team with a 397 series, including a score of 136.
Chloe Goodwin was not far behind with a 377 series and a Varsity game top score of 156.
Addy Valvo bowled a 139 and
Katie McCullough closed strong with a 125 in the final game of the series.
In Junior Varsity,
Oliver Tomsic bowled a 179 before being brought up to Varsity while
Emily Funka scored her personal best score of 186.
The Chargers will finish the week of bowling by facing off against North Allegheny at Paradise Lanes at 3:00 today, December 11th.
