The Our Lady of the Sacred Heart boys and girls bowling teams continue their winning streaks with convincing victories against North Hills at Paradise Lanes. Both teams improve to 6-0 for the season.
The boys swept North Hills, collecting the maximum seven points, thanks to impressive performances by Isaac Tarbuk, Jonah Schollaert, and Thomas Gayliardi. Issac led the Chargers with a 568 series and a team-high game score of 216. Jonah was close behind with a 563 series and a top game score of 203. Thomas rounded out the top scorers with a 548 series and a high game of 203.
The Lady Chargers secured a 5-2 victory over North Hills by winning the majority of games and pin totals. Natalie Turcios led OLSH with a 410 series and a high game of 145. Hannah Hayes contributed with a 391 series and a top game of 140, while Chloe Goodwin added a 345 series. Katie McCullough had the team's best individual game, scoring 170, which helped OLSH win the third game of the match.
The top junior varsity bowlers of the evening were Brayden Douglass (183) and Meg Sweeney (130), both of whom also spent time on the varsity roster.
OLSH will have a short rest before returning to Paradise Lanes as visitors on Wednesday, January 15, when Moon hosts the Chargers at 3:00 PM. Please come out and support the Bowling Program!
