The OLSH Boys and Girls Bowling Teams officially ended the first half of the season with matching 5-0 records after a Roll-Off victory over Avonworth.
For the Boys Varsity Team,
Tom Gayliardi was the top bowler with a 611 series, including a score of 242.
Isaac Tarbuk rolled a personal best 553 series with a season-best 215.
Roman Ritz bowled the best game of his OLSH career, recording a 256 after starting the match in Junior Varsity.
Oliver Tomsic also bowled a 200 game, with a 202. During the third game of their match, OLSH recorded a season-best 1007 pins scored.
On the Girls Varsity Team, the top bowler was
Hannah Hayes with a 403 series, including the team-best single score of 143.
Addy Valvo and
Natalie Turcios complimented the team with a series of 341 and 333 respectively and
Emily Funka added to the team score with a 123.
The top Junior Varsity scores belonged to
Roman Ritz (148) and
Emily Funka (116). Both were promoted to Varsity.
OLSH's Bowling Teams will have a busy week with two matches at Paradise Lanes next week. OLSH will host North Hills on Monday and challenge Moon on Wednesday. GO CHARGERS!!
