The OLSH Boys and Girls Bowling Teams faced a strong North Allegheny squad in challenging lane conditions at Perry Park Lanes for Week 3 of the WPIBL season. The Girls maintained their undefeated record, improving to 3-0, while the Boys fell just short in the final game of a close match and now stand at 2-1.
BOYS MATCH: North Allegheny 5 – OLSH 2

North Allegheny opened the match with a strong first game, but the Chargers battled back, taking Game 2 before narrowly dropping Game 3 after some tough breaks in the 10th frame.
Isaac Tarbuk led OLSH with a 566 series and a team-high game of 204. His clutch performance in the final frame of Game 2 secured two points for the Chargers. Jonah Schollaert added a 518 series with a top score of 182, navigating the difficult oil patterns effectively. Additional strong contributions came from Roman Ritz, Oliver Tomsic, Brayden Douglass, and Leeland Thompson to keep OLSH competitive throughout the match.
GIRLS MATCH: OLSH 7 – North Allegheny 0

Entering the match tied with OLSH for first place, North Allegheny challenged early, but the Lady Chargers' consistency secured a dominant three-game sweep.
Jacque Day led the team with a 409 series, posting two games of 140. Hannah Hayes stayed hot with a 403 series and a team-high score of 144. Jordyn Velmire matched the 144 and finished with a 393 series. Strong marks from Natalie Turcios, Katie McCullough, and Reagan Kavals further contributed to the decisive victory.
JV REPORT
On the JV side, standout performances included Leeland Thompson's 203, earning him a promotion to Varsity. Matthew Prince continued his strong season with a 444 series.
For the girls, Reagan Kavals bowled a 134 in Game 3 to earn a Varsity promotion. Charlotte Gauntner and Eva Fardo also delivered consistent scores throughout the match and the early season.
