The Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Boys and Girls Bowling teams concluded their Regular Season by winning their roll-off matches today on Senior Recognition Day.
The Boys officially finished the season at 9-1 and shared the section championship, but will advance to the WPIBL playoffs as the West Section Champions due to a points tiebreaker.
The Girls officially finished the season undefeated at 10-0 and won the West Section Championship.
The Boys team was led by
Tom Gayliardi with a 690 series and a top score of 249 and will be one of four Chargers competing in the Singles Championships later this month.
Anthony Hansen had a 513 series with a top score of 193.
The Girls team was led by
Margaret Mary Sweeney's scores of 120 and 114 on Varsity.
Emily Funka contributed with a 114 and
Chloe Goodwin scored a 114.Â
The Top Junior Varsity Bowlers belonged to
Jonah Schollaert with a 202,
Isaac Tarbuk with a 190,
Natalie Turcios with a 148, and
Hannah Hayes with a 145.
Team success aside, this day was to honor our Senior Class of 2025. The 9 seniors are

Clara Gontier,
Anthony Hansen,
Caleb Mutschler,
Margaret Mary Sweeney,
Gavin Thompson,
Addy Valvo, and
Bailey Ye. Every Senior bowled at least two games in the match today and were important bowlers in the program throughout the years.

Hannah Hayes for qualifying in the WPIBL Singles Championships in two weeks!
The next match for OLSH will be at AMF Mt. Lebanon next week. The Boys will compete on February 12th and the Girls will compete on February 13th.
