Ava Ciummo had an impressive day at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three singles as the OLSH Chargers powered past the Steel Valley Ironmen with a commanding 14-1 victory on Monday.

The Chargers wasted no time, striking first in the bottom of the opening inning. Mya Eshenbaugh drew a walk to bring in the first run, followed by Julia Pintar's clutch double, driving in three more. OLSH extended their lead in the second inning with two additional runs, courtesy of a Ciummo groundout and a Pintar single to center field.

The momentum continued in the third inning when the Chargers exploded for seven runs on seven hits. Offensive contributions came from Ava Ciummo, Sophia Wasko, Mya Eshenbaugh, Olivia DiGiacomo, Kaylee Seskey, and Camryn Hummel, who doubled to bring in two runs.

On the mound, starting pitcher Camryn Hummel earned the win, delivering a solid five-inning performance. She allowed just one run on one hit, striking out four and walking one.

The Chargers' offense tallied 12 hits overall. Julia Pintar led the charge with four RBIs, finishing 2-for-3. Hummel and Wasko also recorded multiple hits, while Eshenbaugh showcased her speed with two stolen bases. The team remained aggressive on the base paths, racking up a total of five stolen bases and turning a key double play.

Next, the OLSH Chargers will take on the Ambridge Bridgers on Tuesday.
