The OLSH girls cross country team placed 2nd overall at the PIAA Foundation Race held in Hershey on September 20th.
Freshman
Jules Goshen had her best race of the season, running 5 kilometers in 20:46 and earning a medal with an impressive 8th place finish out of 195 runners. Junior
Hannah Hayes just missed a medal, placing 23rd with a time of 21:59. Sophomore
Eva Crofford placed 29th overall with a time of 22:19. Junior
Mira Mosca ran her best race of the season as well, placing 43rd with a time of 22:54, and Senior
Charlotte Gauntner kicked in fast at the end to finish 45th in 22:59.
Senior
Brayden Douglass placed 29th overall out of 226 runners and lead the boys to a 15th place team finish with a time of 18:19. Senior
Wesley Goshen placed 64th with a time of 19:20 and Sophomore
Leo Mosca wasn't far behind with his best race of the season, placing 71st in 19:31. Senior
Oliver Tomsic ran a 20:46 on the hilly course, and Sophomore
Sidney McLaughlin finished off the boys team scoring with a time of 21:18.
